Some other notable absences: 1) Weapon degradation, which was a key component in System Shock 2 that balanced out finding some super powerful weapons early. You could still keep that Mission 3 modifier exclusive to the hardest setting and maybe add a penalty where each death results in an added 15 - 30 min to the in-game timer. I know this game has a lot of options already to make the campaign tailored for your experience however, there are still several key modifiers that are either missing or they're locked behind Mission Level 3.ĭying is already too forgiving, so I wish I could enable the extra penalty without also having a 10 hour time-limit for my first playthrough. ![]()
